Morgan was introduced by Jean Couch to Balance in 2004, and continued studying this method with Kay Hackney in Fairbanks. The combination of yoga and Balance transformed her posture and movement. Exploring the body's optimal architecture in the yoga poses, she finds a sense of ease that inspires her practice and guides her instruction. Morgan is nationally registered with the Yoga Alliance and has studied in the Iyengar tradition with Lynne Minton, Donald Moyer, and Judith Lasater.

Kay Hackney is a certified Balance teacher and has studied with Jean Couch since 1998. She began yoga studies in 1977, was certified to teach by BKS Iyengar and is registered with Yoga Alliance. Tai Chi

Mary Nebert is a nationally accredited instructor in the Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA. She has been practicing Taoist Tai Chi since 2003 and has participated in instructor workshops at the International Taoist Tai Chi Center in Orangeville, Ontario. Like all instructors in the Society, she volunteers her time to teach and promote the health-improving aspect of Taoist Tai Chi.

Barbara Pomar has studied meditation since 1970. Besides her degree in clinical psychology, she is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with advanced training in Gestalt-type regression work. She is also Board Certified as a Regression Therapist by the International Board of Regression Therapy. She has conducted workshops and led meditation groups for 16 years, having offices in both Alaska and California.

Thea Sawyer discovered Balance in 1991 when trying to cure her aching back. Its healing power made her into a passionate practitioner. After studying at the Balance Center in Palo Alto, CA she moved to Paris to continue with the originator of the technique, Noelle Perez. She has been teaching Aplomb aka Balance and yoga for 15 years, and is certified in France and California. Her teaching objective is sustainable posture in everyday life and maintenance of functional movement at any age.
