| Description | Students must bring the sheet music for two songs they have memorized. Songs can be from the following genres: Broadway, jazz, folk, country, and The Great American Songbook. These classes will provide opportunities for singers at all levels. Emphasis will include interpreting lyrics, phrasing and rubato, tempos, setting one's key, stage, presence, patter, microphone technique and song interpretation—all with an emphasis on developing one's own personal style.
DVDs of the performances are available through Apogee Studios. |
