UAF Housing ~ Conference Services

UAF Conference Services offers residence hall rooms and apartments to Festival participants. The front desk is open 24 hours for guest check-in and assistance, and offers wake-up calls, iron and alarm clock checkout, message and mail service, computer network access, and information about UAF and Fairbanks.

Residence Hall Dorm Rooms
Available for ages 18 and older, rates are $38 per night for double or single occupancy in a room with two twin beds. If you have someone you would like to share the room with, that’s only $19 per night, per person! When making your housing reservation, make it clear who will be rooming with you. A limited number of rooms with one twin bed are available for $32 per night.

Two-Bedroom Apartments
Cutler Apartment Complex has a limited number of two-bedroom apartments with two twin beds in each room. This is ideal for registrants and their families. The rate is only $75 per night, per apartment, with a 14 day minimum stay required. If you are staying 13 nights or less, the rate is $100 per night, per apartment.

Make your request for housing as soon as possible. Reservation forms are available online. Your credit card is required to reserve your housing request. Payment is due in full when you check in.

All guests are provided linens, including sheets, pillow and pillow case, blanket, towels and washcloths. Laundry service is available for no cost in each building or apartment and linens can be exchanged at the front desk. The apartments also include a bathroom and full kitchen with dishes and service-ware for four, cookware, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot with filters, towels and potholders. Residence halls have a kitchen on the main floor of the building and community bathrooms with private toilet and shower stalls.

All rooms/apartments have a phone with local telephone service. Long distance calls require a calling card. Televisions are available in the lounges in the Residence Halls.

Ethernet connections are also available in each room. If you are interested in network access, contact Conference Services. If you aren’t bringing a computer with you, computer access is available in three computer labs on campus, one in the Residence Hall complex, one in the Rasmuson Library, and one in the Bunnell Building.
