Bobby Lewis and Eustace Johnson will be arriving Monday, July 14th. Gospel Choir registrants should go to the rehearsal that evening at 6:30pm at the University Community Presbyterian Church, down the hill from the campus on College Road. Learn the basics of how to play Gospel piano! Registrants should be able to read music but can have minimum skills in playing the piano. Students who don’t read music are encouraged to take Fundamentals of Music with Ron Drotos.

Davis Concert Hall If you love to sing, you will have an inspirational experience in this Gospel Choir! No audition and registrants don’t need to know how to read music.
Jaunelle R. Celaire • Fairbanks, AK Voice and Cabaret
Jaunelle Celaire, lyric soprano, is the assistant Professor of Voice at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She enjoys a musical career as a soloist, conductor and performer. She was featured on the recording of The Second Anthology of Art Songs by African American Composers. She has made appearances throughout Brazil, Canada and Europe singing varied repertoire from opera to cabaret.
Eustace Johnson • New York, NY Gospel Pianist
Eustace Johnson brings diverse talent to the Festival. He is currently the Director of Music at New Song Community Church in Harlem. As the president of EAJ PRODUCTIONS and EAJ MUSIC, Eustace serves as pianist/keyboardist for solos, groups and studios. Most recently he was the arranger and musical director for “If This Hat Could Talk” -The Dorothy Height Story.
Bobby Lewis • New York, NY Conductor Gospel Choir
Bobby Lewis began teaching gospel music in his father’s church in Virginia. When he moved to NYC, he worked in musical theatre and claims Andre in Ain’t Misbehavin’ as one of his favorite roles. He is the Executive Pastor and Minister of Music at Central Baptist Church in NYC, and his 58-voice choir has been featured on The Today Show and other TV programs.
