Marsha Knobel

Marsha Knobel

Marsha knew she wanted to be involved in music from the age of 4 when her mother taught her the harmony for “There’s a Long, Long Trail A-winding”. A music degree in education was a given. Since coming to Fairbanks out of college in 1969 she has taught elementary music, directed church choirs, women’s and men’s barbershop choruses, ecumenical Christmas cantatas, musical theater shows and taught voice lessons for over 40 years. Performing has included solo work, casting in musical theater venues, barbershop chorus, and many other Fairbanks musical events. Marsha now teaches music part-time at Divide ISD, a country school in the Texas Hill Country.
