A 4-hour short-course to give you some insights from professional brewers on improving your homebrew skills and techniques.

This short-course is designed for homebrewers of all skill levels (from beginning extract brewers to intermediate partial or full-mash brewers)

Attendees must:

  • Be 21 yrs of age or older
  • Have at least a basic/fundamental understanding of beginning homebrewing

Course topics will be tailored to specific attendee discussion, but will generally cover the following general areas:

  • Recipe formulation
  • Wort production, and where you can go wrong
  • Lauter/Sparging (for partial-mash and all-grain brewing)
  • Kettle boil
  • Cooling-in
  • Yeast pitching
  • Fermentation
  • Packaging (kegging/bottling)
  • Sanitation

Course discussion will be far-ranging and specifically-tailored to attendees discussion/questions , and will be as technical as attendees wish to tackle!
