Biography

Nancy Angelini Crawford is primarily a self taught artist. After residing in Wasilla, Alaska for over 30 years she began taking local watercolor classes and then moved on to study oil painting under contemporary masters such as Kevin McPherson, David Gallup, Michelle Dunaway and others. Angelini teaches pastel and oil workshops both studio and plein air. Her artwork has won local and national awards and has shown in juried events across the country as well as numerous solo shows. From coast to coast, and North to South, Alaskan artist, Nancy Angelini Crawford captures moments in life. Warm winter light or the twinkle in an eye, her sensitive work stirs emotions and memories. Alaska's beautiful scenery, her past by the sea, and travels are inspirations for her work.
